Born in Verona and trained with the American sculptor H.B. Walker, Pucci de Rossi (1947-2013) is an uncommon designer and artist. Jewellery, furniture, sculpture, painting: his creations, visually striking and functional, refer as much to Arte Povera as to the neo-baroque of the Memphis studio. The different chapters below pay tribute to the career and life of a unique creator. They chronicle the evolution of his work over five decades infused with poetry, derision and humor, where furniture with secrets and objects with surprises turn the categories of the beautiful and the useful upside down.
